Lee Murray Rearrested
I guess the wikipedia editors called Lee’s fight too early. While Lee, who was released from Moroccan prison after a court ruled that he was a citizen of the North African nation and (therefore) could not be extradited to the U.K. Murray is listed towards the top of many wanted lists in the U.K., after stealing £53 million (today, about $92 million) from the Securitas depot in 2006. Street fighting (and, now, high crime) legend “Lightning” Lee Murray was released from prison in Morocco after a court confirmed his citizenship. For those who don’t know the backstory, Lee Murray is alleged to have been an active participant in the £53 million raid of Securitas in 2006. It seems doubtful, now, that Lee Murray will be traded to British authorities for a terrorist wanted for questioning in Morocco.
