The UFC 108 rumor mill

This is what we have lined up for UFC 108 if the rumors are correct.

Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin
Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort
Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Junior dos Santos
Jim Miller vs. Tyson Griffin
Carlos Condit vs. Paul Daley
Martin Kampmann vs. Rory Markham
Joe Lauzon vs. Sam Stout
Mark Munoz vs. Ryan Jensen
Cole Miller vs. Dan Lauzon
Jake Ellenberger vs. Mike Pyle

This would easily contend with the PPV buy rates for both UFC 100 and UFC 101 if all of these fights are actually booked. The chance of this happening…well, not so good. If Dana White and Joe Silva agree to set up so many good fights on one card that is two and a half months away, who’s going to pay for the next three UFC events? Expect to see some of these names in January, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for all of them to show up on the official fight card.
