Weekend News Roundup: October 18th

To the surprise of many fans who thought he was done after his last fight, Chris Leben is coming back for UFC Fight Night 20 against Jay Silva.

Alistair Overeem beat Tony Sylvester at the Ultimate Glory 11 event in Holland…via submission.

Tim Sylvia will return to action on New Years Eve in K-1’s Dynamite!. Sylvia has been actively fighting in smaller promotions and will head back to Japan for a bigger show. Is this the comeback of big Tim?

Remember Demian Maia? The guy that everyone (myself included) hoped would be the one to really give Anderson Silva a tough fight? Well, it’s been quiet for Maia since his devastating knockout loss to Nate Marquardt and he’s coming back at UFC 109 to fight N.J. BJJ prospect Dan Miller.

An interview with Lyoto Machida where he says he wants a shot at Brock Lesnar. Um, I don’t think he has  much of a chance, just sayin’. But anyway, here’s the interview.
