Pyle vs. Wilson for UFN 19

Mike Quicksand Pyle

Mike "Quicksand" Pyle

After an exciting performance in defeat, Mike Pyle (17-6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will return against Chris Wilson (14-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC). Both fighters are coming off of losses, with Wilson dropping a Split Decision to John Howard (11-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at UFC 94, and Pyle losing by submission after a three minute submission war with Brock Larson (26-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC).

Pyle (who fight’s out of Xtreme Couture) is a well respected veteran in the sport, and will look to make his mark on the UFC welterweight division, while Wilson (a Team Quest fighter) is looking for another win to legitimize himself as a solid talent in a very competitive division.

UFN 19 is also set to include a bout between lightweights Gray Maynard (7-0-0-1 MMA, 5-0-0-1 UFC, #10 IWMMAR) and Roger Huerta (20-2-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), as well as a rumored, but unconfirmed, bout between Dan Miller (11-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Aaron Simpson (5-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC). The event will take place at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
