Tommy Speer Hangs It Up!

Attached to this article is a video about the recent Cagefest Extreme event in Norfolk Virginia that was published at www.hamptonroads.tvby Craig Kimberley. It is a great piece of work and they deserve great comments for the video. The production follows Beau Baker and Tommy Speer from the weigh-ins to post fight interviews. You will also notice Antwain Britt and C.T. Turner, and the finish of that fight. It was a good night for MMA in the Hampton Roads area and the main event did not disappoint.

Tommy Speer became well known on the UFC’s reality show The Ultimate Fighter. Throughout the season he seemed to click with coach Matt Hughes very well, which led him to be a part of the original H.I.T. Squad. Since that time Speer has been cut from the UFC after 2 straight losses. At Cagefest he suffered another loss to Baker. Speer fans are rooting for this to be post-fight feelings and a quick decision after a hard fought loss. Rumors around the net are saying that he may not be done, but a change of pace is needed. As for him in the cage anytime soon, it doesn’t look promising.
