Greg “Kazja” Patschull says so. Patshcull, the owner of Tapout Taco and a poster on The Underground forums, says that everyone will soon be able to use the supposed trademarked eight-side cage that is being used by the UFC. Patschull also claimed to have use an octagon-shaped cage at an event months before the first UFC event took place. Here is the verbiage used by Zuffa at the bottom of their press releases regarding the octagon.

Submission? Really. Submission is a trademark of Zuffa? So every time I tap a guy I have to give Dana White a quarter?
I’m slightly confused by this. This person, who writes like a twelve year old (LMFAO), is claiming that he knows more about IP law than Zuffa’s lawyers and proves they “have their tails between their legs” with a 3 year old cease and desist letter? This doesn’t seem like a real story, just some dumb promoter trying to get an publicity he can by being an ass.
