Curtis’ Toss of the Week: Randleman Slams Fedor
By Curtis Clontz on Mar 17, 2008
In a new series for MMAOpinion.com, weekly I will post throw that is worthy of another look. Since this is the first installment I am going to start out with one of the biggest and most amazing throws ever taped in the sport.
The first 18 seconds of this fight is more than worthy to be the first video in this new series. Although Randleman does take a loss in this fight, the throw shows his great wrestling and athleticism. This video is being posted in the wake of the news of his next fight in Charlotte NC. On June 21 Kevin Randleman will be fighting former UFC contender Jeff Monson.

About the Author: Curtis works as an associate editor for MMA Opinion. He is the old man of the bunch at 28. Like many of our viewers he is a U.S. Military vet. He has spent almost 9 years in the U.S. Navy. The Aviation Rescue Swimmer spends his time engulfed in the world of MMA. He has written for over 9 different websites and online magazines in all. He helps out with ESPN Radio 1310’s The Fight Zone on a regular basis. Curtis is a sports enthusiast and loves Duke basketball.
There’s the slam that could have ended Fedor’s career or his life. Except he is Fedor and he went on to win while the rest of us would have died. Instantly.
It was probably the best throw of Randleman’s career, and best recovery of Fedor’s.
This further affirms my thoughts that Rampage really has no brain.
